ChatGPT Is Getting Better at Programming in Languages Scarce on the Internet

OpenAI is improving ChatGPT's ability to help with rare programming languages and is launching new tests to measure this progress.

OpenAI reported that it is working to make ChatGPT better at writing code in so-called low-resource languages. These are programming languages for which there is relatively little text, examples, and code on the internet. As a result, AI usually understands popular languages, such as Python or JavaScript, better and performs worse with rare ones.
