Smart Jelly is a Mac app that brings several AI tools into one application. It was created by founder Nishant. He says he used to pay for separate apps for dictation, meeting notes, live meeting help and AI agents. None of them shared data with the others, so each started from zero, and he copied notes from one app into another to give the AI enough context.

📌 What Smart Jelly does

The app includes dictation that knows your context, and live meeting help: suggested answers, recall of past context, and fact checks against your past work. It also offers meeting notes without a bot joining your call, a to-do list with commitment tracking, and AI agents that act on what the app already knows.

All features draw from the same shared memory. For example, a dictated email can pull from yesterday's meeting, and agents can act on to-dos. The author says this removes the need to copy context between apps and to pay for five subscriptions.

According to the authors, memory was the hardest part to get right, and they spent six months on it. The app scores 87.6% on the BEAM-100K memory benchmark. Data stays encrypted on your Mac. You can see, correct or delete anything the app remembers.
