Ukrainian developer launches Lessons platform for IT interview prep
Senior Frontend Engineer Oleksandr Kolesnik has launched a free platform with short interactive lessons to help people quickly review the basics before frontend or fullstack interviews.
What the platform is
Lessons is a service with short lessons for people preparing for a frontend or fullstack job interview. The author, Oleksandr Kolesnik, says the goal is simple: refresh the basics without hour-long videos and dozens of open browser tabs. He built the platform himself, from idea to launch: content, design, automatic task checking and AI integration.
What's inside
The platform currently has 10 courses and 84 lessons covering HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, Vue, Python and Git. Each lesson covers one topic: a short explanation of the rule, a code example and a link to the documentation.
After each lesson there are three questions similar to typical interview questions. There are also hands-on exercises with automatic code checking, and cheat sheets for quickly reviewing syntax a few minutes before an interview.
AI assistant and access
The "Ask" button lets you ask an AI assistant about a specific sentence in a lesson, so you can clear up a confusing point without searching for the answer elsewhere.
Lessons can be read without registration. Signing in is required for the practice exercises and AI features. Materials are available in Ukrainian and English. For now, all features are free.
What the author wants from readers
This is the first version of the platform, so the author is asking for feedback: which topics are missing for interview prep and what should be improved. Feedback can be left in the comments to his LinkedIn post.
