Free AI School for Young People Aged 16–22: Who Can Join and How to Apply
A free online Youth AI School program for people aged 16–22 starts in Ukraine, where in seven sessions participants learn to use AI tools and build their own AI agent.
What the program is
The education platform uBoost and HAVAS Village Ukraine have opened enrollment for Youth AI School. It is a free online artificial intelligence program for young people aged 16 to 22.
No previous experience creating AI tools is required. The program is aimed at those who want to move from simple queries to ChatGPT to regular use of AI in study, work and their own projects.
What you will learn
Across seven practical sessions, participants work with free versions of ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, NotebookLM and other tools. They learn to write effective prompts, provide the models with the right context, check the reliability of answers and choose the right tool for a specific task.
Some sessions focus on study and research: participants learn to turn notes and course materials into structured knowledge bases and to work with scientific sources.
There is also a digital safety block. Participants learn to recognize deepfakes, check suspicious photos, videos and messages, and protect personal data. In creative workshops they work with image generation and editing, texts and content creation. The result can be added to a portfolio.
How the program works
A distinctive feature of the course is the AI task diary. From the first session, participants record recurring tasks from study, work or their own projects, estimate how much time they take, and consider what could be simplified with AI.
Based on these notes, participants build their own AI agent, a digital assistant. It can help with study planning, analyzing job postings, working with documents or preparing research. The first version can be improved with mentor support.
The program ends with a Demo Day, where participants present their agents and receive expert feedback. Those who meet the program requirements receive certificates.
The instructors are specialists in artificial intelligence, digital technology, creative industries and cybersecurity, including practitioners who implement AI in business and train company teams.
Conditions and how to apply
The training is free and takes place online. Organizers expect participants to be able to devote up to four hours per week to the program.
