Spacesheep: turn AI answers into visual pages your team can share

Spacesheep is a service that turns AI output into a visual document, dashboard or mockup, and teams can comment on and edit it together, starting free.

What it is

Spacesheep is a tool that turns an AI answer into a visual "space": a document, a mockup, a dashboard, a small app or art. The founder explains the problem this way: AI produces more and more output, while people's ability to read and check it stays the same.

The service was launched on Product Hunt. Its founder, Michael, presents the project as a company from the Y Combinator program (batch F26). According to the developer, you can start using it for free.

How it works

Step 1. Ask the AI you already use to create the result and add spacesheep.dev to your request. For example: "Use spacesheep.dev and give a visual explanation of how GPUs work."

Step 2. You get a space that you can open in a browser.

Step 3. Share it with specific people, your whole team, or publicly. To ask the AI for changes, write @spacesheep in a comment. The model fixes the space while everyone watches in real time. Every version is kept, so you can go back to an earlier one.

Which AIs it works with

The service works with various AI agents: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, ChatGPT, Grok, Grok Build and open-source tools such as opencode. There is also Spacesheep's own AI on the dashboard, in Slack and in other places.

Every space syncs to your own Google Drive or GitHub, so your files stay with you.

Examples

Examples the team published include an interactive map of the ET-SoC-1 chip, an AI Foundry lab dashboard, a statistics page about Y Combinator in numbers made by an agent, and a live thermal camera stream. The authors also shared videos: an official launch video and a 90-second demo. An explanation of the project's purpose is on spacesheep.dev/why.
